Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Rocko von Roding is a very handsome, 5-6 year-old German Shepherd. This charming boy with the sweet smile and plushy coat has blossomed during his short time at the rescue. He now understands the joys of rump rubs and car rides. He eagerly looks forward to both. He has a medium energy level and eagerly anticipates his walks -- maybe a little too much, because he can get the better of you on leash, if you let him. But his good nature and eagerness to please will go far with a person who is willing to guide him. There is no age at which dogs like Rocko will stop learning. Around other dogs he does well. He greets friendly dogs when on leash and enjoys pack walks. He's gotten good marks in playgroups as of late; he is social and knows when to back off. He is a very nice medium size for a Shepherd and settles down well at home after training and exercise. He would love to continue to grow and gain new experiences in a Shepherd-experienced home.
